I am looking for my uncle -WILLIAM SHARKEY-known as Billy. Billy originates from the Scottish Borders(Jedburgh/Hawick area). His date of birth is the 8th of November 1949. Birth parents are a Mr William Sharkey(deceased) and a Margaret Sharkey(nee Ross). Billy spent several years in Wilton House Children,s Home in Hawick prior to being fostered with his sister Agnes to Airdrie.Billy joined the merchant navy aged sixteen and was last seen by his sister Margaret in 1966/67 approx when he visited her at the children,s home. Both Margaret and Agnes(known as Nancy) would love to find Billy. Any information as to his whereabouts would be appreciated. Please e-mail:
