I'm seeking any living relations of my Gparents JOSEPH and FRANCES CURRIE(Anderson) m Feb 2, 1900 in GLASGOW, her address at the time was 158,South Wellington St.(this St.later changed to Lawmoor St.)His address was 9 HUTCHEONSON SQUARE. In the 1920s Frances' brother ROBERT ANDERSON had a chip shop in Glasgow, my mother MARY MEIKLE(CURRIE)worked in it.
Frances and Joseph's family were:
PEGGY(Margaret)CURRIE m JIM BAILEY
JOE m AGNES?. Their son JOE CURRIE had an electrical shop in Northampton in the 1960's
ARCHIE M ELLEN?, 2 sons JOHN and ARCHIE, now in there 50s, when they were young they were in the SALVATION ARMY with their parents.
JENNY m JOE DUFFY, children: ISA and JOE/JOHN. Isa m JIM/JOE McFADYEN.
MARY m WILLIAM HODGE MEIKLE 1924 GLASGOW. they moved to DYCE in ABERDEEN then CORBY,NORTHANTS in 1953.
ROBERT CURRIE died FRANCE 1944 WW2 aged 24.
FRANCES CURRIE lived AT ???,LAWMOOR ST. in 1953, ARCHIE, ELLEN and the boys lived in the same tenement block. JENNY and JOE DUFFY lived across the road. daur. ISA McFADYEN lived just off CALEDONIA ROAD.
FRANCES moved to ARDEN with Archie, Ellen and the boys,late 50s then moved to CORBY, NORTHANTS early 1960s. She died in 1969.
I'd love hear from any of my relations.
