re:McGinigle family my grandmothers maiden was McGinigle? she married a man called Dawson i think it was william they moved to America but my gran came back without him i believe they had 5 children Margaret b1923(my mum)William, john,kathy,wilma my mum married in 1941 to Patrick Donnell originally from Johnstone, Paisley my mum lived in Hamilton, Motherwell before her marriage i dont know if we are talking about the same family but it is a rather unusual name
