I am looking for any information about my gg Grandfather,Norman McDonald.My g Grandfather Murdo Angus Smith,whom everyone in the family knew, has Norman McDonald for his father and Mary Ann Smith for his mother on his birth certificate.Noeone in my family knows anything about any McDonalds at all,I guess everyone thought that his parents were married.Norman and Marys child Murdo was born in Quebec,Canada in 1884.Mary brought their son down to the United States and raised him in Walden,Vermont.I have been unable to get any info from any family members,its like Norman never existed,but in fact he did,and he was my gg grandfather.I dont care if you have good,or bad info about him,as long as it is true.My g Grandfather must have been told something about his father,because he named one of his children Norman Smith.Any information would be greatly appretiated,i may not have alot,but some of my blood is that of a McDonald.
