I am searching for the birth place and parents of a
James Cameron who was born in 1849. Some believe he may have
been born in Scotland and then come to Missouri, USA by way of Canada--
or was he born in Canada?
He married Elizabeth "Lizza" Ogle in Graham, MO on March 22, 1874.
They had 6 children. In birth order: Charles, Fred, Florence, Harry (b. 6/2/83), Bernice, and Onie.
Onie died at 3 when she was run over by the covered wagon on the way to Leotta, KS.
Elizabeth later married a man named "Ridland" and they had one son, Guy.
I'm hoping some of the descendents of the other children may have information about
Elizabeth Ogle or James Cameron's Parents. Hope you can help.
