My brother and I are researching our family history and we are looking for two uncles, JAMES and DAVID McLEAN. They left Edinburgh with their father James McLean, to go and live in the Greenock area sometime around 1931/1933. They had an elder sister, our mother, whose name was Catherine McDonald McLean. She remained in Edinburgh with their mother, Margaret Lamberton Lyle McLean. As far as we know, they never saw their sister again. Any information about our uncles or their families would be greatly appreciated. Have we got cousins out there somewhere?
