WEIR family: Has anyone out there got any links to the WEIR family - who originated from the Village of CURRIE, Midlothian, Scotland (near EDINBURGH),- OR - from the NEWINGTON Area of EDINBURGH in the 1700 and 1800s. Especially an Alexander Weir who was born in Currie on 1st July 1840 and emigrated to the USA between 1851 and 1871. I now have more than 400 people on my 'WEIR Tree'and would like to fill in some more detail.
