Family heirloom has " James Abercrombie Shoemaker Lauriston" inscribed on the Band.On the Cap J A 1765. Believe father of David Abercrombie who married Mary Cullen 14 April 1787. Lauriston now spelt Laurieston a town SE of Falkkirk, Scotland. Anyone have connections with James who lived in Lauriston.
