My grandmother Annie Farmer was born at Rottenrow Royal Maternity Hospital in Glasgow Scotland on or about May 23,1917. She was taken to Quarriers when she was 5 as her mother Lily Farmer was in poor health and about to die. I have recently found out that Lily died August 29, 1923 and that my grandmother's father's name was Thomas Benson, a protestant, heritage and location unknown.
