Robert Miller(ar) family came from N/E/Scotland 17th Century. It is believed my gt.grandfather went from Liverpool in 1878 to meet them but died in an Inverness Hotel before he could do so ---why, and was he meeting family? His father same name (Alexander)worked for the then 13th Earl of Derby as his Stonemason at Knowsley Park Prescot Lancs his origins unknown born <1771> .He married in the Isle of Man a Mary Magee in 1797 her origins also unknown. Family of three generations followed in the Trade as most likely did their forebears.Any clues welcome ,Michael.J.Alexander MILLER.
