I am searching for my mother-in-laws siblings and birth family. My mother-in-law was born Charlotte MacDonald on April 9, 1930. She was born in Toronto Ontario Canada. Her and her mother were deported to Scotland in 1931 where Charlotte was dropped on a doorstep and later adopted by Alexander and Annie Gilmour. Her mother used the assumed name of Dorothy MacDonald when she had Charlotte, she also told newspapers that she was Sarah McLellan. She met a man in Toronto who followed her back to Glasgow. His name was Angus Peters. Cannot find any trace of her and these could all be phony names. She had a son prior to having Charlotte his name was John. Also her boyfriend/husband had a son named Stanley.
Would appreciate any info on any of these people
