DUNNs of Ayrshire
I am trying to identify the parents of my GGG Grandfather, William Dunn, who was born on March 1, 1767 in Monkton, Kyle District, Ayrshire. Christened on March 8, 1767. His father was said to have been Alexander DUN and his mother is unknown. William Dunn married Margaret Wilson and they had 2 children: Sarah, b. 1800, married John Patrick and d. 1877. The other child, James, was my GGGF and was b. 1802 and d. 1882. He was first married to Jean BROWN and later to Jean MILLER. Thank you in advance to anyone who can give me any information on the aforementioned Alexander Dun of Ayrshire.
