Am seeking info on Joseph Bain married Margaret Bain Feb 1870 in Wick Caithness. They had 5 children as far as we know Barbara the eldest b 1871 George B 1873-74? William ,Daniel and Joseph not sure of thrir dates of birth . We think Margaret died sometime between 1878-1893 as joseph moved to glasgow around Late 1880's early 1890's. This info i got from his son Georges army records, he joined the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders in 1893 in Paisley Glasgow. We know that his father Joseph was alive as was his sister,Barbara,and his brother William,Daniel,and Joseph as they are listed as living next of kin but not his mother Margaret. The address that they were living at was 24 Mollinsburn St Springburn Glasgow .I know that Joseph moved to Motherwell but not sure when.George Bain married Sarah Jane Wilson in 1906 they had 3 daughters and 1 son. Margaret b 1908 Barbara b 1910 George b 1912-13? Sarah b 1915 George never seen his youngest child as he was killed in action in 1916 in Belguim. His oldest daughter Margaret married David Foulis in 1929. I would be very gratful for any info anyone can give me.
