A number of my paternal grandfather's family emigrated to New Zealand and Canada around the early part of the last century. Grandfather was William Alexander George Fraser,
born 1899 at Cawdor, Nairnshire. He later married Johan MacDonald, born 1895 at Croy, Nairnshire. The names of his brothers and sisters include Jane, Isabella, Catherine, Donald,Amy, Margaret, James,Hugh and Colin. I am uncertain as to who went where although I know Amy stayed in Scotland and married a man Coupar who was a fish merchant in Helmsdale.Williams own family consisted of Donald (Donnie),
Chrissie, Winnie and Betty. I would be grateful for any information which could shed some light on this 'lost Generation'. If further info is required please e-mail me.
