my maiden name was Mcdonald. Have abit of a family tree but would like to add to it. what I have is John Mcdonald. Born Atholl (At Culloden with Prince Charlie) quote. John Mcdonald, shipowner in Perth, born Athol 1749 Died
.1839. John Mcdonald - master mariner B. at Perth 1799 D.in Norway 1838. Jean Bell his wife d. at Ayre 19/5/1822 John Mcdonald B. at Ayr. 19 May 1822 married in sth Australia 1/8/1843 to Prudence Brown who was born at Nailsea 10/7/1829. Then it goes to my great grandfather William Bell Mcdonald born in Australia in 1850 then to my grandfather and father who died in 1983 and had 2 daughters but no son. Were we related to Flora Mcdonald? of Scotland
