Can anyone help me with more information on:
James Paul Thomson, born Paisley 21 July 1823/1826
(mother Jane Paul,father Andrew Thomson) and
Catherine Boyd, born Paisley 25 December 1832/1831
(mother Catherine Houston, father John Boyd).
James & Catherine married in Melbourne, Australia in 1856 and had 6 children there (Catherine Houston, Andrew, John Boyd - lived only a few months, John Boyd, Jane Paul and James Paul). At some point between September 1866 and December 1868 the family moved to New Zealand and had another 3 children (Mary, Robert Steel and William Boyd).
