Iam trying to trace what any info re my great great grandfather DAVID BLANEY - married to Elizabeth Adams Steele dies aged 65 14/3/1928, grandaughter of George Steele, Dalkeith he died 8/1/1903 who had another grandchild died at Westfield aged 11 months on 17/5/1908 and George Steele had a son and daughter - James Steele, stone cutter died in Dalkeith 15/3/1892 his sister died the following day, in Pittsburgh 16/3/1892. I am told my grandfather and Elizabeth Steele travelled to Pittsburgh - we know she came back but not sure that he did; he has never been spoken of or discussed and a gravestone with this information was uncovered in Dalkeith approx. 2-4 weeks ago; my father is 80 and has just learned the name of his grandfather!Can anyone shed any further light on the family?
