PEEBLES,John & BEATON, Jane my great-grandparents m:21 July 1882. My grandmother Isabella Downie PEEBLES b:21 April 1883,West Forthar, Kettle, Fife; eldest of 13 children. On one certificate her middle name of Beaton is crossed out & Downie written next to it & on another certificate middle name of Bethune is crossed out & Downie written over it. Anyone got any info? Isabella married 22 July 1903 to Alexander Stenhouse THOMSON & came to Australia in 1923. Any further details welcome.
