In 1676 James Nuccol signed the Blisland Parish Complaint
about taxes and other problems in the area of Williamsburg,
Virginia. The Scotish parish records show a number of families
in Scotland about 1600 near Aberdeen that had names that are
similar to Nuckols. (About 35 versions.) Need help on trying
to better understand these 17th centuries families to
(1) find ancestors for James of Virginia and
(2) find modern Nuckols descendants.
The family is too small for a clan, but there was a family
reunion in Aberdeen about 1960.
