HI! I know this isn't exactly geneology because this person is still alive and kicking, but I thought if some of you were over in Scottland, maybe you could help me out. I have a friend who needs his birthcertificate to get a state ID and employment and we don't know who to call exactly. He was born in Edinburogh (forgive my spelling) Scottland, then moved to the states. If I could find out how to get to the department of records down there it would be a huge help!
