I am searching for the parents of Lauchlin McLean, born 1780/1783. Only information I have is that his father's name was Daniel McLean and his mother's name was Catherine. It is believed that Daniel died in 1788 in North Carolina. Lauchlin married Flora Lamon(t) in 1805 in Cumberland County, North Carolina and they had the following children:Sarah; Daniel; Margaret; Mary; Elizabeth; Archibald; Angus; and Malcolm.
Would appreciate any help that can be provided in tracking Lauchlin McLean's parents.
