My GGGG Grandfather was James Abernethy.
He was born in approximately 1796 (or 1798) and married a Nancy McBride.
In approximately 1823 he emigrated from Ireland to Canada.
He settled in Storington Ontario.
He had seven children (John 1829 - ?,William 182(?) - ??, James 1827 - ??, Robert 1820 - ???, Edmund 1821 - ??, David 1835 - ??, Mary 1834 - ??)
I would appreciate it if anyone could help me get more information on James (brn 1796) as I am trying to trace our line.
