I am looking for the parents of a Charles A McPherson I have a few versions of his birth , but this is my best lead. He was born of the port of New York (?Long Island) It is believed the ship was from Scotland. The year was 1787 posibly in May. The ship may have continued up to Canada. If anyone could advise me I would deeply appreciate it. This has been my dead end for a long time. I do know he married Sarah Adelia Grant who was born on the Bay of Chaleur(Canada)
