Looking for Archibald Cameron, John Henning, James Graham who may have left Dumfries about April 1817, one or more of them, for Philadelphia, arriving fall of 1818.
According to the History of Five Islands, Nova Scotia, Canada, they all settled in the area of Five Islands. We are trying to trace the Cameron line to Archibald Cameron, age 24 in 1818 who married Jennet Henning, daughter of John Henning, who was 15 when she arrived in Nova Scotia. They had 3 sons and 8 daughters all born in NS. Two of the 3 sons were drowned in separate accidents. We know nothing of the 8 daughters.
Would like to make a connection to Archibald's father, who we believe was Alexander, possibly born around 1729 in Scotland. A long shot, but are hoping someone may be able to help. Much thanks, Judiia
