CORSTON- Looking for families of Corstons. My William Bain Corston was said to have been born/christened on the 10th October 1816 in Kirkwall Orkney Scotland. His parents were William Corston & Janet Dick. William Junior was one of 5 children.
William migrated to South Australia in 1839 with a family by the name of Robertsons. He was said to have been the Robertson childrens teacher/tutor. The family arrived in 1839 in South Australia. In later life William married the daughter Betsy Robertson.
Can anyone help me with my search for the Corstons of Kirkwall. Does anyone know if there is still Corstons living in Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands.
