ROBERTSON- Looking for families of Adam Roberton who was born 6th August 1809 in Aithsetter Sand & Cummings Shetland Scotland. His parents were Robert Robertson & Adamina Smith.
Adam married Elizabeth (Betsey)McPherson on the 24th April 1834in Stromness Orkney Scotland. So far have found one child of this marriage,Betsy McPherson (my great great grandmother) was christened in 1834 in Stromness Orkeny. The family are said to have had one other son John in 1836? and migrated to South Australia in 1839.
Does anyone more information or family members still living in the Orkney Islands or Scotland.
