I am looking for roots in South Uist. My great grandfather was Neil Buy(Bowie) (Bouey) who married Catherine MacIntyre daughter of John Red MacIntyre and Flora MacEachen. Neil's son Alexander MacEachen married Mary MacAskill. daughter of John and Marion MacAskill. I am also related to an Annie MacAskill that married a MacDonald. All these people are from South Uist. Many of them came to Canada in 1851. Any information would be welcome. I don't know if I have a message at this site or not, but I do have a new E-mail address.
