MACDONALD'S, (John, Donald, Angus) Out of Isles of Skye Scotland around 1790's, to Fayetteville North Carolina in the early 1800's, To Kershaw Co. South Carolina in the mid to late 1800's, to San Marcos, Wimberly, or Buda Texas area in the late 1800's.
My Grandmother Emma Alexis MacDonald (b.1887, Wimberly Tx.), Her father Archibald, twin Angus, (b. 12-1-1815 Fayetteville/Cumberland County North Carolina/Mother Scharlotte McKay). Twins father Donald MacDonald (b.Skye area of Scotland abt. 1781), Mother of twins Nancy Robertson, no information on Nancy. Father of Donald, John MacDonald out of Scotland, possibly died in Moore Co. North Carolina in 1803.
Looking for information on the Donald and John MacDonald out of Isles of Sky Scotland. Proud of my Scottish ancestry, just trying to connect the lines from Fayetteville, North Carolina to the Isles of Skye, and the rest of my ancestors in the Highlands.
