I am looking for information regarding Daniel McKay, born about 1816 in Scotland. He emigrated to the USA, where he married Catherine Williams, born about 1830 in New York. I am seeking information about his family. My research indicates that he may have been born in Lanark, Glasgow and that his parents may have been John McKay and Barbara Crawford. I would appreciate any information that could confirm or deny this possibility.
