My friend Shannon who has a pc is letting me post this via her computer.
My ancestors were McQuaigs who were from Scotland, perhaps the Skye(?)well they emigrated to Canada in 1815 where I have been able to follow them. I cannot figure out which folks (mother and the father) did the actual emigrating to begin a family in Cananda. I believe it might be Archibald MacCuaig and Janet MacDonald who emigrated and had my ancestor,Randal (Ranald) in Canada, but I'm not sure.Perhaps someone is following the same surname and we can compare notes. I would appreciate anything.
