Searching for the lineage of John Alexander STEWART born c. 1779 , Loch Rannoch, Perthshire. Possibly three other sibling emmigrated to Prince Edward Island, Canada with him. They settled in Red Point, PEI. One brother Peter also moved here and was married to a Christine Stewart who died in Scotland before he came to Canada. He then married a Janet McVean.
The Stewarts that came to PEI married into Robertson,Bruce, McVean and MacGregor families. We have been told that one of the Stewart girls was born in Tempar. Any one who can shed light on this family, we would love to hear from you. Know this is a shot in the dark but maybe someone else is looking for the same family!
