I am trying to trace my family tree and the only information I have about my mother is that she was born in Glasgow on 16th February 1925. On her birth extract her mothers name is Jean Bain and father unknown. My brothers, sister and I would appreciate any information possible as we have just lost our father. We know that our mum was brought up in Inverness on a farm and that she was an orphan. Our parents met on the ship coming out to Australia in 1949. Thanking you in advance. Trish Clark
