Searching for any information about John Munro b.1806 d.1866 m.Ann Shand (he was in some way connected with shipping when Perth was a river port of some importance, this was before the Tay bridge wa built and stopped the tall masted vessels coming up river. Also John Munro b.1860 d.1916. He was a jeweller in Perth. He married firstly Elizabeth Black, and following her death in 1888, he married Margaret Fraser, from Petty Inverness in 1891 (b.1861 d.1947). She was the daughter of Alexander Fraser and Mary Dingwall. Alexander and ? his two sisters are buried in the burial ground at Castle Stuart, Inverness. There were 6 children from the two marriages, 3 of whom died as infants in 1900. (cause unknown) John Munro was a pillar of York Place United Reformed Church in Perth.
