Seeking to locate descendants of John Young, formerly Sgt of County Police, Pithlochry; emigrated to Canada (Muskoka District, Upper Canada), 1861 with his wife Elizabeth Strachan and two children, Alexander and James (my grandfather). Returned to Scotland APPROX 1875, and started another family. I'd be happy to hear from any descendants in Scotland. There are a whole slew of relatives here in Canada who'd be happy to exchange news. His son James had 13 children and a zillion grandchildren.
