I am trying to trace any Mitchell's in the Lothian Region. Mainly East Lothian.
My Great Grandfather came from Prestopans I think his name was James Mitchell he moved to england before
1920's. I would appreciate any help all so can you help on the meaning and origin of the name Mitchell.
