JAMES DOUGLAS/SS, JEAN GRAY
I am seeking information about the above couple who according
to IGI and Scots Origins were married 2 Jan 1808 in High Church,
Paisley, Renfrew, Scotland.
Records and written family history (from before 1928)
indicate the birth of ten children, Janet, Jean, Robert,
registered High Church; then, David,Elizabeth,James,
John, Alex (Alexander),Thomas, and William.
James Douglas/ss came to USA, at mid life and
worked for Delaware and Hudson Canal Co for many
years,finally retiring at a great age.
He died at the age of 103
Would like to know his ancestry and
whether he left any of his offspring
behind in Scotland.
