Am looking for ancestors of DANIEL MELVIN, born about 1708 on the Isle of Skye.
His mother remarried and Daniel was not liked by his stepfather.
His mother sent him to America at the age of 11 or 12.
He setteled in Bladen County, North Carolina, USA and
married Jane Thomas about 1748.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
