I am looking for the father of Francis Findley. Francis was born about 1775 in Falkland, Fife, Scotland and died Dec. 20 1826 also in Falkland. He was married to Jean Bisset Barrett. They were married Feb. 3, 1803. One of his sons, William Findley Sr. and his grandson William Findley Jr. joined the L.D.S. church around 1848 and emigrated to the U.S.A. I am hoping to find who Francis's parents were. His father may have been named James. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
