Researching the SHIELLS family. The furthest I've been able to go back is Thomas SHIELLS, born in Edinburgh c. 1834. He came to Australia and married Bridget TIMMONS. Thomas' parents were Thomas and Janet Shiells. Thomas Jr became, among other things, a hotel-keeper in Victoria. We have a pretty good record of what happened to him here in Australia, but would love to know more about his ancestors. Thanks.
