MCLEOD. I am looking for information on children of William MCLEOD and Janet MURRAY who were married at Loth Parish, Sutherlandshire in 1818.
Known chidren were:
Elspat,Roberta, Alexander, Hugh, Christian and James.
Christian and James are my only leads now as all the others apart from my g.grandfather Hugh died single.
A possible family connection comes from the name of Hugh,s farm in NZ, Elphin Grove.Maybe an Assynt connection?.
Any help would be appreciated.
