I am researching the ancestry of William Weir of Hamilton Parish, Scotland who married Mary Lewers of Lesmahagow Parish, Lanarkshire, Scotland. They were residing at Woodyette, Lesmahagow, Lanarkshire, Scotland, in 1827 AD. when William Weir died at Linmill and was buried ?? He may be buried in the Old Parish Church Graveyard in Lesmahagow, on August 3rd, 1827 at 58 years of Age. There is one stone there with no dates which reads Erected by William Weir. Who were the parents of William and Mary? Are there descendants of these siblings. There are photos taken in Edinburgh, Scotland but we do not know who the people are, but they are probally relatives of Mary Lewers Weir, as Photography was new in Scotland in the 1830's. Any relatives out there, with information?
