I am searching for information about a certain Scott family who lived near Melrose, Roxburgh, Scotland.
My ancestor John Scott was b 1816 & chr St Boswells parish.
John's parents were Andrew Scott b abt 1777 & Joanna Hope
b 1770. He came to NYC in 1854 with wf Georgina & children.
