My paternal gg grandparents were Charles Tennant (a Shoemaker)(b. c1811, dunfermline, fif, sct, s/o Charles Tennant & Katherine Pearson)and Caroline Paterson Marshall (b. c1816, edinburgh, mln, sct, d/o Thomas Marshall (a Shoemaker) & Margaret Wright), mar. 22 Jul 1833, edinburgh, mln, sct. They had 10 children, still looking for 2 daus & 2 sons, b. c1835-1854, others are: Charles (Master Tailor), 5 Jul 1834 (m. 4 Jun 1858, Lilias Bowie Harrower), d.2 Feb 1868; Thomas Marshall, bc1837 (m.6 Nov 1861, Jane Stronach), d.6 Mar 1899; Margaret [Wright?], bc1840, d.1883?; Ebenezer Marshall (a Minister), b.c1849 (m.28 Dec 1868, Hannah Short Reid), d.1909; Elizabeth Heriot Marshall, b.3 Jul 1855; William John Coventry (a Teacher), b.3 Oct 1857 (m.3 Jan 1888, Christina Kinmont Moir), d.1907; James Marshall, b.10 Apr 1860, d.25 Nov 1860; Mary I. Helen, b.9 Feb 1863. Some earlier family members b. dunfermline, fif as well as edinburgh, mln. Hope someone can help me.
