I am researching my family tree - name Neilson. Area Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. Any information would be greatefully received. Also my grandfather, (b1894) William Neilson was in WWI. Any information about his rank, what battalion he was in (I believe he fought at the battle of the Somme and was in the Army) as I have no information regarding this except that he returned and was therefore not killed in sevice.
