Searching for information on James Arthur Lyle STEWART born approx 1881, in Argyll Scotland? Parents: Alistair STEWART and Annie MACDONALD. Unable to locate record of birth to date, but believed to be one of many children. Qualified as a Civil Engineer. Served in the Scottish Rifles before emigrating to Australia around 1911-1914 where he lived with a brother (name unkown) and married Leslie (maiden name unknown) in Queensland approx 1915. Two children resulted from the marriage. Returned to UK during WW1. Emigrated to Australia once more mid 1920's and married Agnes Lockton in 1930. Children from this marriage are Bruce, John, Ian (died in infancy), Donald, Ian, Alistair, Ann & Mary. Began using the name Ian STEWART at around this time in lieu of James. Anyone with information on this family line?
