URE:I am searching for parents/ancestors of ALEXANDER URE who was born abt. 1788, m'd MARY ROSS December 4,1819 and was father to Isabella, John Francis, Mary and Margaret. Alexander and Mary were of Gorbals, Scotland.
ELDER: Also searching for parents/ancestors of JOHN ELDER, 3rd son of DAVID ELDER. They were the Elders of Elder & Son Ship Building. John married Isabella Ure March 31, 1857.
