I have been off line for sometime. My grandmother's mothers name was Mary Livingstone, b 9/20/1867 in Rutherglen, Lanarkshire Scotland. She died in Michigan, USA 4/15/1940. She married Robert Rennie in Detroit, Michigan12/31/1889. Robert's parents were David Rennie, b 12/10/ 1802 in Forfashire, Scotland, died 2/18/1871, mother was Mary Ann Gibson, b 7/20/1821, Fife Scotland. Mary's Livingstone's parents were Neil Livingstone and Elizabeth Cochrane, I do not have any dates or information on them. Do you know of any sites like the Fife site that has people sharing information about people in Rutherglen or Forfashire ? Mary Livingstone had sisters Jennie, Elizabeth, Agnes and Isabella. I believe their married names were Rennie for Mary, Summers, Spears, Fuller and Brown for Isabella. I haven't found any of the brothers.
I lost information about David Rennie and Mary Gibson. Is there a detailed map of Lanarkshire. I had the address from a census of where they lived but it was lost. I am assuming that I possible could find it in a census probable the 1851 ? Do you have any family connections in the US ? Thanks for any help. Ron Corbeille, Michigan, USA
