I am trying to find out if my family decended from Scotland. According to one of my oldest living relatives, my Sinclair line originated in Glascow Scotland. The farthest I have been able to go back is to Peter Sinclair born about 1740 in Virginia. I think his father name was David Sinclair or David Sinkler but I am not sure.
