Seeking information on my great-grandmother, Jeanie Gibson Watson who was born in Scotland in 1862. She was the daughter of John Watson, supposedly a sea captain, and Elizabeth Gibson. It is likely that Jeanie is from Lanarkshire, almost certain that she comes from the Lowlands.
