I am looking for information about my Great5 Grandfather Robert Crawford born near Edinburgh, Scotland in 1743. In 1768 he married Elizabeth Sylvester of Frithville, Lincolnshire, England. He and his family resided there for generations past his death. The information I am looking for is how Robert ties to the early Crawford Branches of Scotland. I beleive that Robert is a decendant of Sir Lawrence Crawford(1506) and Helen Campbell, because of the Given name similarities passed down thru generations. I would greatly appreciate any help that anyone could give me. Thanks, Rus
